Christmas Tree Lighting

The Cloverdale Lions Club has sponsored the Cloverdale Christmas Tree Lighting for 48 years. This ceremony kicks off the Christmas season while promoting local businesses. The event includes entertainment on the outdoor stage and guest speakers, such as the mayor and other local dignitaries. There is Christmas music and other seasonal festivities. The Lions provide hot chocolate, special apple cider, doughnuts and cookies. Santa Claus travels all the way to Cloverdale for this celebration so the children of Cloverdale can have their picture taken with him, and all the kids receive candy canes. The tree lighting is done by kids who are selected from the community. All of Cloverdale is cordially invited to join in the festivities. See you there!
